Santa came to visit students in The School of Nicaraguan Friends and Others.  The school, which was a grass roots, community school aimed at teaching students English, operated for three years before many of the students went on to other Saturday school programs. In addition to the lessons, students in the school enjoyed several parties that marked holidays and the school’s anniversary. They also went Christmas caroling in English and Spanish.
