Cheryl L. Serra is an award-winning journalist who grew up in the New England region of the United States. She received her undergraduate degree in Journalism and her graduate degree in College Student Personnel. Her professional career includes positions in newpaper reporting, marketing, publications, higher education and writing.

Two years ago, Cheryl co-founded an English language newsletter in Nicaragua. She served as executive editor of that publication - which was aimed at reaching people interested in investment and tourism in Nicaragua - for two years and was the writer and oversaw its design, printing and distribution. Cheryl will serve as editor of Nicaragua Living.

Veronica Valle received a degree in English Translation from Central American University (UCA) and subsequently took courses in marketing, sales and International Quality Certification ISO 9000 in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. She has worked in various professional capacities on projects for the municipalities of San Juan del Sur and Managua, Banpro, PriceSmart and DHL Worldwide. Veronica will serve as sales and distribution manager for Nicaragua Living.
